The City of Rock Hill, Missouri is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Parks and Recreation Superintendent. This position is part of the city’s leadership team and works under the direct supervision of the City Administrator. The Parks and Recreation Superintendent is responsible for the leadership of the Parks and Recreation Department. Essential duties include planning, budgeting, organizing, and directing department activities. Candidates must work effectively with the public, vendors, co-workers, elected officials, and other partner agencies. 

 

The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Parks and Recreation Management or a closely related field and 3-5 years of experience in increasingly responsible management positions, OR any combination of related education and/or work experience totaling nine (9) years is acceptable. The salary range for this position is $43K to $58K DOQ. The city provides an excellent benefit package including health/dental/vision benefits, LAGERS retirement, deferred compensation, and a health reimbursement account.
