Marijuana Facility Odor Update
We continue to log every complaint received via the [email protected] email address. We have invited representatives from Proper Cannabis to come to the February 3, 2026 board meeting at 7:00 p.m. to update the City on what steps they have completed in attempting to mitigate the odor problem and why we have seen a recent uptick in odor issues. We invite every resident to attend. We have spoken with St. Louis County environmental services department, who has measured the air quality and advised that it does not meet the standard to be an air pollution issue. We have also made multiple attempts to contact the State of Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services section for marijuana regulation, but have not received a response, other than suggesting we fill out a compliance complaint form, which we have done. We will now be reaching out to our state elected officials to see if they can assist the City with getting a response from the State’s marijuana regulation department. In the meantime, we encourage you to keep sending your date/time/location to the [email protected] email address. The following complaint form can also be completed and submitted to the State’s marijuana regulation department (email it to [email protected]): https://health.mo.gov/safety/cannabis/pdf/compliance-complaint-form.pdf
