Parks & Recreation Department

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Parks & Recreation Department include coordination and planning of recreational activities and programs and coordination of the Rock Hill summer Day Camp for children in Kindergarten-completed 5th grade. The department is supervised by the Parks & Recreation Superintendent. Park maintenance is provided by the Public Works Department. The Parks & Recreation Commission also assists with these activities.

Programs & Activities

The department offers several programs to residents of all ages. Seasonal children’s programs include an "Easter Eggstravaganza", "Saturday Morning with Santa", Fall Festival, and so much more.
