Ward Map

New Ward Map: The Board of Aldermen approved a new ward map for the city on November 15, 2022. The city’s wards are reviewed after the U.S. Census and adjusted as necessary to keep the population balanced between the wards. The results from the 2020 Census showed that the old Ward Two had approximately 600 fewer residents than Wards One and Three. In order to balance the populations of the wards, the Ward Two footprint grew to include areas from Ward One and Ward Three resulting in equal populations in Wards One and Three and increasing Ward Two’s population.
